Portable Desalinators - Technical Information

Tahiti Dessal 160LH and 240LH Models

Jovial Desalinator Pacific (Ocana) and Jovial Marine France are proud to present their desalinators as a "turnkey solution".

Designed to withstand the constraints of transport, climatic hazards as well as continuous use, the technical elements of this watermaker are entirely encapsulated in a closable and lockable aluminum box.

Intended for individuals, businesses (charters, marinas, hotels, etc.) as well as communities, this watermaker was developed and tested in Polynesia with the aim of meeting the particular constraints of island environments.

Usage and operation

A start-up in 3 simple steps

Fresh water will travel through a dedicated pipe to the user's tanks.

Rinsing

This maneuver, common to all reverse osmosis desalination systems, is essential to ensure the longevity of the membranes.

Two options are available:

Components

Pumps

  • 12-volt submersible centrifugal priming pump with transformer.
  • 220-volt high-pressure pump in technopolymers and stainless steel 316L.
  • Corrosion-resistant.

Controls

  • Waterproof electrical panel equipped with a differential circuit breaker.
  • Produced water flow meter with total and instantaneous accounting.
  • Low and high-pressure gauges.
  • Stainless steel needle valve for adjustment.
  • Pre-set stainless steel safety valve.
  • Dual rinsing system: on pressurized network or independent.

Enclosure

  • Secure, rainproof casing (IP44).
  • Easily maneuverable thanks to carrying handles and/or wheels.
  • Key lock.
  • Operation possible with the casing open or closed.
  • Interior lighting for nighttime use.

Pipework

  • High-pressure stainless steel 316L piping, corrosion-resistant.
  • Low-pressure food-grade polyethylene piping with quick-connect fittings.
  • External connections of the "Gardena®" type, a widely used global standard.
  • Pre-filtration system for sediment and chlorine removal.
  • Optional: UV filter and/or remineralization cartridge.

Miscellaneous

  • Spare pre-filters provided.
  • Detailed startup manual included.
  • Quick instruction leaflet displayed under the lid.
